Treatment
In the case of several missing teeth next to each other, we place two or more implants which support a fixed bridge. This allows you to replace multiple elements without needing a separate implant for every tooth.
You will be referred by your dentist. We will assess your situation and take X-rays. Based on this, we will draw up a personalised treatment plan.
The implant is inserted into the jaw under local anaesthetic.
The implant fuses with the jawbone. This takes longer if bone grafting is required.
Your own dentist will fit the permanent crown and carry out regular check-ups.
Dental implants are not usually covered by basic health insurance. There are exceptions, for example in the case of a serious congenital abnormality, following an accident or in the case of certain medical conditions. In such cases, prior authorisation from the health insurer is required.
Many supplementary dental insurance policies cover part of the costs. The amount varies considerably depending on the insurer and the policy.
We operate in accordance with the current NZa rates. You will always receive a written quote in advance.
Ask your dentist for a referral or contact one of our branches directly.
