Treatment
A new tooth in under an hour
Extraction of the tooth, followed by immediate placement of the implant with a temporary crown. A treatment option for people with an incisor or canine that needs to be removed.
Treatment
Should an incisor or canine need to be removed, this can be combined in a single appointment with the placement of the implant, a bone graft and a temporary crown. Within one hour you will leave the outpatient clinic with a new fixed tooth.
You will be referred by your dentist. We will assess your situation and take X-rays. Based on this, we will draw up a personalised treatment plan.
The implant is inserted into the jaw under local anaesthetic.
The implant fuses with the jawbone. This takes longer if bone grafting is required.
Your own dentist will fit the permanent crown and carry out regular check-ups.
Dental implants are not usually covered by basic health insurance. There are exceptions, for example in the case of a serious congenital abnormality, following an accident or in the case of certain medical conditions. In such cases, prior authorisation from the health insurer is required.
Many supplementary dental insurance policies cover part of the costs. The amount varies considerably depending on the insurer and the policy.
Your excess may be charged for the removal of the tooth.
We operate in accordance with the current NZa rates. You will always receive a written quote in advance.
Ask your dentist for a referral or contact one of our branches directly.
